School of Ping! at King’s Cross: The Pictures

Today was the last day of School of Ping! Minutes before the main event, the area right outside the amazing new King’s Cross concourse was packed with people, mainly due to security issueskeeping the station’s gates locked. Lucky though the travellers were, for the Ping! tables were there, ready to help them express their anger over red signals, fast-closing doors and minor delays in frantic pre-Olympic London. The bats were warmly placed in the grips of  fun-loving bypassers and wannabe ping pong champions when all security issues were solved, and the games went on until the end of the day, giving a wonderful ending to one of our most demanding -due to the amount of locations and people involved- series of events. Despite the windy weather, which constantly made us wonder whether table tennis is a game for two or for three (two players sending the ball back and forth, the third one simply chasing it), there were plenty of moments worthy of a place in our visual records.
